Decoupage - mini chest of drawers and magazine file
This is my second proposition. Technique the same as previous, decoupage but on wood.
Bought this chest of drawers and file holder from (IKEA) as well as those colorful napkins.
I used glue to stick paper to the wood, add little bit of metallic writer (DecoArt) and few layers of cheapest varnish to protect. Job done ! Hope u like it !

Why I'm doing ''art''
Hi people,
I'm not a professional artist, I'm not actually an artist at all. I think I my have a little bit of talent ... just little bit ;-) and spare time.
Never finished any course, training, workshop whatsoever. But because I finished child care and social work and was working for many years with kids with challenging behavior, as well as addicts and in kindergarten I had to or should I say I liked to search book, album and web for new ideas. As a social therapist and art therapist part of my work was listening ant doing ''art''.
When I got married i quit my jobs (yes jobs) and I totally ''sacrifice'' everything and everybody just for simply being a wife (and being a wife and a mother was always my biggest dreams but about this later). Sacrifice in a good way of course and it was completely my choice. But going to point wanted to say that I forgot I can do ''art'' and I can actually enjoy ...
So after a few years being wife, living in different country I've decided recently to go back to my ''art''. I and my husband are in quite difficult situation in our lifes for over a year now and I was thinking that maybe back to past hobby will help me to relax a little...
I would like to share with you my little ''talent'' ;-)
hope some of u will like it, maybe some of you can find inspiration ...
